A vision statement for preparing learners for life and learning in the 21st and 22nd century. 800-1000 words. Presented in the form of a typed essay, PowerPoint (or similar software) with an audio voice-over, YouTube (or similar software) video presentation, Photo Essay with substantive written annotations, or another proposed and approved format. Focused upon what a target audience of the learner's choice needs to thrive and survive in a 21st and 22nd century world.

The vision statement also includes a list of 5-8 core skills or competencies. Each stated skill or competency includes: a citation to relevant sets of standards or other resources that informed the decision to include it in this list, one or more examples of how to best equip learners with that competency or skill, & one example of where this skill or competency is being learned or nurtured well.
