The Future of Sourcing Awards program recognizes organizations and individuals that show innovation, leadership and transformation in categories that are critical to the sourcing industry. Individual awards were presented in two individual categories and two special categories: Rising Star, Sourcing Star, Supernova Hall of Fame and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Recipients of this badge were nominated and chosen as winners in one of these categories.

Earning Criteria

Individual award nominations may have been submitted by a colleague or a business partner. Nominations were evaluated on merits, accomplishments, successes and other factors. Once chosen, finalists were interviewed via podcast in late August, delivered an “Award Talk” at the fall SIG Summit to share the nuts and bolts of their nomination, required to write a summary of the nomination, and requested to put together an overview collateral piece for distribution at the Summit.
