To earn the ECPI CJ Disaster Training badge students must demonstrate the skills required to perform disaster response techniques as members of the community aiding family, friends and neighbors. Candidates will have mastered the key skills and abilities gained for this badge including the ability to identify resources for weather emergencies, identify structural integrity concerns, perform mock search exercises in teams and identify potential trauma for victims of emergencies.
