Earners of this designation have demonstrated the ability to select and model evidence-based treatment approaches with clients who have Parkinson’s Disease. Earners can select and administer standardized assessments to identify underlying impairments and address impairments such as bradykinesia and hypokinesia. Earners have demonstrated the ability to apply the principles of neuroplasticity, high intensity exercises, and effective teaching techniques to improve functional abilities.
