Earning Criteria

  • Complete six required courses, each taking 15 weeks to complete. Courses are combined with for-credit sections of the same class. Students complete all projects and exams that are required of for-credit students. Classes include: Introduction to the Study of Languages, World Englishes, Introduction to English Grammar and Cross Cultural Communication.  A practicum and methodology experience is also required.
  • Pass final exam in all courses with grade of satisfactory
  • Complete 40 hour observation and teaching experience with certified instructor.
