Candidates will have mastered the key skills and abilities gained for this badge including the ability to identify resources for weather emergencies, identify structural integrity concerns, perform mock search exercises in teams and identify potential trauma for victims of emergencies.

Earning Criteria

Complete the application paperwork for the Community Emergency Response Team.

Participate in weekly training sessions. Miss no more than two of the classroom based sessions. Participate in the "hands on" practical.

Complete the classroom portion of the training with a score of 80 or above.
