A thorough review & critique of 2 school acceptable use policies. Written as if the author is a consultant hired to review the existing AUP, & to revise changes or revisions. It answers the following questions: Are there any gaps in the AUP that should be addressed? If so, how? Are there any unnecessary or obsolete elements that should be removed or changed? How can it be revised, shared, and/or communicated in a way that would make it easier to understand & apply for both students and teachers?

The review also answers: Does it leave room for current, emerging and creative approaches to teaching and learning (e.g. project-based learning, inquiry-based learning)? Does it adequately address important issues like: Use of Network, Internet Safety (privacy, inappropriate content, unwanted contact), Filtering and Monitoring, Copyright and Ownership of Work, Network Security and Privacy (student data), Disciplinary Action, Digital Citizenship, Social Media Usage?
