The badge is issued to IBM Center for Cloud Training SME team members that support the development or delivery of ICCT role-based training and certifications. It is attained by Cloud experts and practitioners that apply skills and detailed knowledge of IBM Cloud to curriculum development and delivery as well as certification exams. It is earned by SMEs and stakeholders that advance the ICCT mandate to promote Cloud role-based certification programs for IBMers, partners and individuals.

Earning Criteria

Must be an employee of IBM.
Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of IBM Cloud products and services by contributing to the development and delivery of Cloud role-based training.
Contribute Cloud technical knowledge and acumen to the creation of ICCT online courses, videos, instructor-led training and events. This includes the general knowledge of Cloud concepts.
Participate in the development, outlining and review of ICCT courses or curricula. Badge earners apply their knowledge of cloud to the development of role-based courses. As a SME, they actively participate in the course development and review.
Provides the IBM Cloud knowledge, thought leadership, product direction and expertise in a specific subject for the continued strength of the ICCT portfolio.
You can join the ICCT SME team as a volunteer and continue to volunteer for two curriculum development cycles. The expectation is generally 20 hours of development review and development per curriculum for credit. To join the program, please contact the program administrators Thomas A Macaulay/Atlanta/IBM and Tami Bryan/Baltimore/IBM, or the team at the #ICCT slack channel. The ICCT Curriculum Manager will approve your participation.
