An Annotated Bibliography including a collection of resources that demonstrate scholarly research in digital and new literacies, with a focus on instructional practice. It includes sources related to new literacies and learning, and features a minimum of 10 scholarly sources, including at least seven peer-reviewed academic journal articles or texts. Each source must include: the citation; a summary of the source; and a critique of the source. Formatted in APA.

A Unit Plan, including a minimum of three lesson plans. Each lesson plan must: state clear objective(s) related to both content and new literacies; align the stated new literacies objective(s) with the new literacies skills from Jenkins et al. (2006) or Leu et al. (2004); include a rationale for each new literacy's skill and objective;

The unit plan must also: list & describe all corresponding instructional activities, each with alignment to best practices or justifications for inclusion in the lesson/unit & supporting citations from the Annotated Bibliography/recommended course readings/other peer-reviewed scholarly work; clearly identify the suggested/recommended time frame & progression of instructional activities; incl. drafts of at least one summative and one formative assessment; & identify and list all needed materials
