Identification of two or more peer-reviewed journal articles that use qualitative research, including the following for each article: A summary of the study that identifies the research question(s), describes and explains the research method(s), and reports on the findings. An evaluation/explanation of how triangulation was or was not used effectively. A description of how the findings of the article can be used to inform educational practice (while noting the limitations and cautions).

Also included for each article is: 1) A proposal of two or more ways to improve the quality of the study, based upon cited best practices in qualitative research. 2) A proposal for different qualitative research methods that could be used to pursue answers to the same or similar research question(s), including an explanation of the strengths and limitations between the newly proposed research methods and the method(s) used in the study.
