Data Scientists achieve this Milestone by submitting a comprehensive package of information describing project and other experiences for review by an experienced Data Scientist. The assessment criteria include all of the Skills mentioned above. At Level 2, Data Scientists must be able to demonstrate these skills at a "deep" level, having mastered the state of the art.

Candidates must have acted in the role of Data Scientist on a Data Science engagement or project that met its acceptance criteria. Meeting acceptance criteria means that a validated model that solved the problem was accepted or adopted by the business.

Candidates must have performed as a lead Data Scientist in the development of a major project or subsystem.
