First Year Seminar Contributing Instructor

First Year Seminar instructors at Auburn University who contribute at least three meaningful artifacts (e.g. lesson plans, discussion/activity protocols, etc.) to the First Year Seminar Instructors' Resource Toolkit (FYS Toolkit) will earn this badge. The FYS Toolkit is a resource that provides all instructors the opportunity to share experiences of success in the classroom, thereby enabling the delivery of the highest quality experience for students.

Earning Criteria

Demonstrates ability to design and deliver engaging and effective lesson and/or activity plans in a First Year Seminar setting.
Provides detailed lesson plans or discussion/activity protocols that have been executed in a First Year Seminar course. Lesson plans or protocols must be written in a way that creates opportunities for other instructors to replicate or build upon the ideas presented.
