The CPEA Retirement Designation recognizes practitioners after a successful professional career. It cannot be used in place of an active CPEA credential for work. However, it provides an opportunity for on-going engagement with the professional community, and publicly acknowledges the important contribution of the retired practitioner to auditing in Environmental Compliance, Health and Safety, Management Systems, or Responsible Care.

Earning Criteria

Retirement status is available after completing one 5-year recertification/credential maintenance cycle in good standing.

Individuals holding a BGC retired status designation agree to uphold the BGC Code of Ethics and represent their BGC certification status accurately.
