Earning Criteria

  • Candidate must possess a current license to operate a motor vehicle. 
  • Have Fire Fighter 2, NFPA 1001 Certification (IFSAC and/or ProBoard). 
  • Have Airport Fire Fighter, NFPA 1003 Certification (IFSAC and/or ProBoard). 
  • Complete Basic Apparatus Preventive Maintenance training in accordance with NFPA 1002. 
  • Complete Driver Operator – Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Apparatus training in accordance with NFPA 1002. 
  • Successfully complete the Professional Certification assessment examination.
