  • Recommended, but not required, that you have Fire Inspector 1 Certification (ProBoard and/or IFSAC) in accordance with NFPA 1031 prior to Plans Examiner 1 training. 
  • Complete Plans Examiner 1 level training in accordance with NFPA 1031.  
  • Successfully complete the Professional Certification assessment examination.
