Earners of the Automotive Technician Workforce Training Certificate have successfully demonstrated skills as an entry-level auto-technician. Students are prepared to test for the ASE individual certification in Electrical/Electronic, Automotive Brake and Suspension and Steering Systems. Three individual ASE certifications in addition to 6 months of work experience in a related field qualifies students to test for the ASE Maintenance and Light Repair exam.

Complete the Automotive Workforce Certificate Training program series in preparation for certification. Topics include identifying industry expectations, familiarization with automotive industry materials, basic safety precautions, and preparation for work-readiness.

Automotive Electrical Systems explains how to inspect, diagnose and repair electrical problems in everything from batteries to the instrument panel. Successful students are prepared to take the Individual ASE Electrical/Electronic Systems Certification.

Automotive Brake Systems introduces knowledge and know-how to diagnose and repair different types of brake systems. Successful students are prepared to take the Individual ASE Brakes Certification.

Automotive Suspension and Steering Systems prepares students to diagnose and repair steering, suspension and wheel alignment problems. At the end of the course, you will be prepared to take the Individual ASE Suspension and Steering Certification.
