Sally Blake is the recipient of the prestigious 2018 Morgan Owen Award, awarded by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) recognising outstanding achievement and contribution. The Award was for Sally Blake's dissertation on Securing a Sustainable Digital Future, providing a framework for insurers to acheive sustainable digital transformation, reviewing central issues to the digital revolution and building the case for a holistic strategy to address each of these.

Earning Criteria

  • Must be an Associate or Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute
  • The Morgan Owen Award is only made when the standards of the best entry is sufficiently high to merit it and the essay can be on any topic relevant to insurance
  • Sally Blake's Securing a Digital Future dissertation was judged by a panel of industry experts and met the required standard. Sally Blake is the first female to receive the Morgan Owen Award and is the first recipient of the Award since 2011.
