Accredited Wealth Management Advisor℠ or AWMA® Professional Designation

Individuals who hold the AWMA® designation have completed a course of study encompassing wealth strategies, equity-based compensation plans, tax reduction alternatives, and asset protection alternatives. Additionally, individuals must pass an end-of-course examination that tests their ability to synthesize complex concepts and apply theoretical concepts to real-life situations.

What it takes to earn this badge


Higher Learning Commission (HLC) The College for Financial Planning, Inc., is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a member of the North Central Association (NCA).
Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE) The College for Financial Planning has been authorized by the Colorado Commission on Higher Education (CCHE) to offer instruction for and to grant the Master of Science (MS) and Master of Science in Finance (MSF) degrees.
North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) The North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA) and numerous states have enacted regulations or legislation dealing with the use of “senior” designations used by financial planning practitioners, to separate designations that have credible requirements and academic rigor from those that have less stringent or no requirements.
