The California Basic Educational Skills Test (CBEST) certificate is designed to prepare students for the CBEST. The CBEST is the standardized exam that future TK -12 teachers must pass prior to being accepted into a Teacher Credential Program or hired as a teacher in California. Students will be able to identify and apply practical strategies and techniques for taking the English and Math section of the CBEST- California Basic Education Skills for Teachers.
