Earning Criteria

A proposal (Design Plans for Digital Age Ministry) for an educational ministry (fictional or something that will be implemented) at a church, school, or other setting. This project has a strong connection to digital culture. It can be an outreach ministry, a ministry focused more on people who are already Christians, or a combination of the two. As part of the proposal, there is a 1-3 minute video introduction and/or promotional piece for the proposed ministry.

An analysis of seven different and diverse digital ministries that includes for each: a thorough description of the ministry; audience identification; the mission, vision or goals of the ministry (may be assumed); assessment of the effectiveness in achieving the mission, vision or goals; identification of at least three aspects of the ministry that are unique to the digital medium and lead to achieving the ministry’s goals; identification of at least two things that could be improved.

A Digital Age Ministry plan that includes: a description (with target audience), a mission statement & 3+ strategic goals, ministry components/traits that satisfy each goal, a list of needed resources, a description and justification of the technical platform, a list of risks or weaknesses, a development & implementation plan, a privacy plan, a promotion plan, a sustainability plan including day to day operation & long-term leadership, & the criteria to determine if the ministry is successful.
