Students who receive this badge understand and can apply the 5 planes of user experience design; strategy, scope, structure, skeleton, and surface. Students will have demonstrated skill in user research, user testing and feedback, wireframing, prototyping and measurement. They are familiar with design tools such as Sketch, Framer, and Principle. They have worked in teams to complete design projects and have practiced principles of Scrum and project management.
What it takes to earn this badge
UX Design students will have created a portfolio and will have 2 case studies describing their design process and outcomes of their project.
Collaborate with other students on a group project.
Demonstrate proficiency in UX design through assessments, in class design reviews and project work .
Complete the Employment curriculum, write a resume, update a LinkedIn profile, complete a portfolio, pass a mock design interview, and pass a mock design challenge.
