To earn the ECPI Windows OS Level 1 badge, students must install, configure, and maintain an instance of the Windows operating system. The earner will complete a simulation demonstrating completion of each task in the badge criteria.

Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
Perform backups
Scan for viruses and malware
Scan for vulnerabilities
Monitor network and system logs
Enforce security policies
Implement basic cryptography for hard drives, wireless, files, etc.
