Earners understand the importance of the Asia-Pacific region and opportunities for obtaining a global experience through education. Having gained experience in the Asia-Pacific, students take on an ambassadorial role through mentoring and sharing their insights, knowledge and interests with their peers. Earners have displayed leadership and expertise through working collaboratively with Griffith Asia Institute staff and students to host public seminars

Earning Criteria

Earner was a member of the organising committee for student seminar and podcast series – ‘Exploring Asia‘: a combination of real stories, experiences and stories shared by Griffith University students for students

Earner was a regular contributor and participant in planning meetings

Earner was a presenter or took a lead role in at least one of the seminars and took a participant/support role in an at least two additional seminars

Earner attended a minimum of three seminars of 1 hour each with at least one where the earner had a lead role

Earner has demonstrated their skill in event management and/or presenting as guest speaker at event

Earner has assisted in the delivery of a seminar series which included making arrangements for guest speakers or presenting, and/or marketing of event and post production

Earner has demonstrated skill in working collaboratively by working with peers to successfully deliver the 'Exploring Asia' seminar and podcast series
