Earners of this badge have been selected by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Education to participate in the yearlong teacher professional development program in a high performing Anglophone K-12 school system. Through the immersion experience at Griffith University, Earners will have gained skills and knowledge to become effective change agents when they return to their Saudi Arabian schools.

Earning Criteria

  • Earner must provide evidence of attendance, participation and progression through program content including 15 week English Language training, Technical Knowledge & Skills Development training, 15 week guided school immersion within Australian primary & secondary schools for observation & teaching experience,  Visits to Australian primary & secondary schools, Queensland Educators Summit, Change Management and STEM training, Cultural Awareness training and Individual Professional Learning Plan
  • Earner must complete and present a Capstone Project
  • Earner must complete an IELTS test
