Parents Under Pressure (PuP)

The Parents Under Pressure (PuP) program is designed for families facing multiple adversities. The goal is to support optimal child development by supporting nurturing and caring relationships within the family. It is delivered by family support practitioners, social workers and psychologists to families, typically as a home visiting program. This badge is provided on completion of the PuP training program in recognition of having achieved accreditation as a PuP Therapist.

Earning Criteria

Attendance and participation in training and workshops (5 days across 8 months)

Delivery of the program to at least three families

Demonstrated competence with Parents Under Pressure purpose built Online Platform to administer standardised assessment measures of family functioning

Completion of one case study demonstrating competence in the delivery of the PuP program
