This badge earner has significantly contributed to the authoring of courseware: labs, exams, quizzes, virtual machines, etc. The course objective is to teach students how to create business objects & variables, use gateways, process flows, and customize user interfaces (coaches), using IBM BPM. What it takes to earn this badge

  • Expected to be an Information Technology professional working for IBM, an IBM Customer, or Business Partner and attending the IBM Skills Academy.
  • Subject Matter Expertise of topics in Module I - Business Process Overview: Covering Business Process Overview, Trends, Case Studies;  and Understanding the Business Process.
  • Subject Matter Expertise of topics in Module II – Business Process Analyst Foundations: Covering Business Process Management (BPM) building blocks, organization and process; The BPM lifecycle and components; BPM essentials and value proposition; BPM strategies; and  IBM Business Process Manager features and components.
  • Subject Matter Expertise of topics in Module III - Business Process Developer:  Covering Process Modeling Phases; IBM Blueworks Live in process modeling; Creating a Discovery Map; Process and sub process of a Discovery Map; Enhance a Process Diagram in a Blueworks Live blueprint; BPM and its phases; Playback 0 validation goals and requirements; Controlling process flow; Creating a decision service; and Exposed process variable (EVP).
  • The above expertise must be demonstrated by holding a professional certification and/or have 5 years of experience in the application development or a relevant field.
  • Validated contribution to the development of assets of the course components by the world wide IBM education program leader.
