Corporate Service Corps Alum
Corporate Service Corps (CSC) alumni have lived IBM’s purpose, values, and practices while on an international social impact project. This individual served on a multi-cultural, gender-balanced, cross-functional, pro bono consulting team of IBMers that empowered a developing world institution to better serve their beneficiaries. Through their CSC service, this individual has developed skills necessary to better perform at IBM and better serve their community, their clients, and the world.
What it takes to earn this badge
Social Media Activity During Pre-Work (3 months): 10 original posts on Twitter/LinkedIn OR 2-3 blog posts. Content of social media activity must comply with CSC social media guidelines.
Social Media Activity During Deployment (4 weeks): 20 original posts on Twitter/LinkedIn throughout assignment, OR 2-3 blog posts, per week. Content of social media activity must comply with CSC social media guidelines.
Completed Mandatory End of Service Action Items.
Give a Presentation about the CSC Program Upon Returning from Deployment (Internal – Business Unit OR External – Local community organization, Alma Mater, etc).
Post-Service Actions - Complete 2 - Be an Application Reviewer, Mentor a Team or Serve as a Special Advisor, Represent the CSC Program at an External, CSC-Focused Event. Examples of such events include meet-ups with CSC Alumni and recent team members, events recognizing CSC host organizations, and conferences)
