Jawun Alumni have completed a secondment to an Australian Indigenous community forming part of a small team from other Australian Corporate & Government organisations. Teams lead community based projects using their skills and expertise to support Indigenous organisations in achieving their aims. Jawun Alumni have demonstrated IBM's values and commitment to Indigenous inclusion, contributing to improved social and economic outcomes for Indigenous people and our Australian communities.
What it takes to earn this badge
Must be an IBM Employee from Australia
Completed all mandatory pre-work prior to secondment, including all detailed Health & Safety regulations specific to remote regions, understanding of local Indigenous community and organisation.
Social Media Activity During Secondment - Weekly blogs to Jawun Community to include photos of current project/location, all external content must comply with Jawun & IBM social media guidelines
Social Media Activity Post Secondment - Completion story to be used on IBM external social, final blog and secondment summary to Jawun Community
Post Secondment actions - Represent the IBM at National Jawun Alumni Events, mentor to new secondees, continue as advisor Indigenous organisations
Presentation about the Jawun Program, - Must present to Department and Business Unit, involvement in larger national site location presentations and external groups - ongoing.
