Earners of this designation have demonstrated the ability to identify the emotional and physical impact of pain on functional performance. Earners can apply physical agent modalities, manual therapy techniques, kinesiology tape, and teach Tai Chi for pain reduction. Earners can develop or contribute towards a plan of care, including goals, frequency and duration, and the integration of various interventions to reduce the client’s disabilities and improve quality of life.Additional Details

Instruct or complete Legacy’s proprietary Arthritis and Chronic Pain in the Older Adult: Strategies to Improve Functional Performance course.
Instruct or complete Legacy’s proprietary course titled "The Kinesio Tex® Taping Method", including previous course versions of the topic offered by Legacy Healthcare Services.
Learner must receive a passing score on each course exam.
Learner must complete and submit a case study and professional reflection.
