The First Year Scholar of the Year Badge is awarded to a first year Lehman student who is an exceptional scholar among their class. The student has applied to major prestigious awards, scholarships, and/or research and internship experiences. The scholar of the year has actively engaged with their campus community and has worked on developing their academic and professional goals by participating in professional and scholarly development workshops.
