Small Business Consulting Practice

Funded by the City Council of New York, the Small Business Consulting Practice is designed to train participants to consult with small businesses and help them grow. The objective is to provide students knowledge on how to start a business and the explore the tools available to help grow a business. Students are then matched with small business owners in the community and local entrepreneurs.

Earning Criteria

In order to receive this credential, students must participate in 75 hours of training in Business Planning/Financial Projections, Business Presentation Pitch Decks, Social Media Marketing Strategy, and Website Design. Students must also work with at least one or more small business owners and assist them in one of these four areas.
