Earning Criteria

• Participants have engaged in intensive learning sessions, participated in weekly learning activities, and engaged in robust discussions with peers and facilitators, as well as completed the following assessment tasks to demonstrate their understanding of Financial Management.
• Participants have completed a report that identifies static, flexible and continuous budgets and variances, reporting on performance, break even analysis and explanation for observed variances. Investigated cost volume profit analysis comparing actual with budgeted performance.
• Participants have prepared a report evaluating capital investment projects and to recommended a course of action considering the net present value (NPV) method and the internal rate of return (IRR) methods of capital investment appraisal.
• Participants have performed a financial statement analysis based on the statements of financial position, financial performance and cash flows over the two most recent financial years of an ASX listed company, incorporating a ratio analysis and horizontal/comparative analysis. Key ratios used in the analysis included liquidity, efficiency, profitability and solvency ratios.
