Earning Criteria

  • Currently in a Manager role and recognised for potential to succeed in a leadership role within Pearson Finance. Nomination / sponsorship from a member of the Finance Leadership Team.
  • Active participation and engagement in the 12-month Finance Rising Star development program.
  • Complete Personal Development activities (for example StrengthsFinder, 360 degree feedback or similar tools) and development goals.
  • Learn the skills, behaviors, and mindsets finance leaders need to drive positive change within teams and with business partners.
  • Expand breadth and depth of knowledge of Pearson strategy, products, markets, and stakeholders.
  • Build a broader network across finance and broader Pearson teams through engagement in face to face sessions, job shadow opportunities, and involvement in key presentations and discussions.
  • Build a mentor relationship with an executive sponsor from the Finance Leadership Team who is designated to support participation in the program.
