Those who hold this certification have passed a series of assessments in 2 content areas (Obstetrics 1st Trimester and Obstetrics 2nd/3rd Trimester) comprising a total of 14 simulated clinical cases; have been evaluated by peers; and have satisfied experience and practice requirements.

Earning Criteria

Pass 2 Clinical Case assessments, one for each of the required content areas
Successfully complete a peer evaluation
Successfully complete video submission components
Possess a current POCUS Certification Academy™ Point-of-Care Ultrasound Fundamentals certificate or recognized equivalent
Attest to performing and participating in the interpretation of at least 50 POCUS cases within the last 2 years across the 2 clinical content areas (including the minimum number of POCUS cases for each content area)
Be in good standing, actively practicing POCUS
