Earning Criteria

Risk Management Foundation: Three university or college-level risk management courses in risk assessment, risk control, and risk financing. Business Foundation: Four university or college-level business courses in accounting, finance, and two additional courses in economics, MIS, insurance, law, marketing or management. Twelve days of training in RIMS offered workshops. Over five years of experience in the industry at the time the designation is earned.
