General Physics I (PHY250)(v.4)
Issued by
StraighterLine
This course objective is to start with a descriptive approach and students will first learn about kinematics-the branch of mechanics that describes motion, then the study of energy, power, and momentum. These concepts will be defined rigorously. Students learn how Newton's laws need to be modified in order to avoid limitations: a few new and simple ideas introduced by Einstein. To conclude, students will learn about Heat and Thermodynamics, including the 1st and 2nd Law of Thermodynamics.
