This course provides the student with the knowledge of the fundamentals of physics using academic and laboratory environments (and requires knowledge of basic algebra, trigonometry, and elementary calculus). The general course topics include kinematics, motion in one and two dimensions (including Newton's Laws), dynamics, energy and power, particles, linear momentum, gravity, fluids, relativity, oscillations, waves, and thermodynamics and heat. Prerequisites: Calculus I (or its equivalent).
