The course provides an understanding of algebra-based study of electrostatics, electric fields, Gauss' law, capacitance, current, resistance, magnetic forces and fields, electromagnetic induction, DC and AC circuits, electromagnetic waves, mirrors, lenses, optics, and modern physics. Students will also gain laboratory experience through interactive lab simulations and at home lab experiments. StraighterLine suggests that students complete MAT250 and PHY250L prior to enrolling in this course.
