The course introduces students to the cardiovascular, urinary, respiratory, gastrointestinal, and reproductive systems, with particular emphasis on the endocrine and immune systems. Students review the components and functions of these systems, diseases and conditions that affect them, drugs used to treat such conditions, their mechanisms of action, therapeutic effects, and adverse effects. It is recommended that students complete Pharmacology I (OOSL-0021) prior to enrolling in this course.
