The Open Group Certified: ArchiMate® 2 Certified
Individuals who have earned the ArchiMate 2 Certified credential have knowledge of the notation, terminology, structure, and basic concepts of the ArchiMate modeling language, and have the capability to use the ArchiMate language for modeling. This credential is based on the ArchiMate 2.1 Specification.
What it takes to earn this badge
Certification is open to all applicants – there is no requirement for any previous certification.
Candidates are required to have completed the Learning Units defined in the Conformance Requirements document and pass both the ArchiMate 2 Part 1 examination and the ArchiMate 2 Part 2 examination. The examinations may be taken separately or together as a combined examination. The Part 1 examination consists of 40 questions in simple multiple choice format with a 60% pass mark. The Part 2 examination consists of 8 gradient scored complex scenario-based questions with a 70% pass mark.
The duration of certification is indefinite – certification is to a given version of the Body of Knowledge and does not expire, so there are no re-certification or renewal requirements. For candidates who wish to advance to ArchiMate 3 Practitioner, they may do so via the ArchiMate 3 Advanced Bridge examination (which is available until January 31 2019)
