A naturally visual learner and communicator, I created my first visualizations--maps of real and imaginary worlds--in MacPaint on my family's original Apple Macintosh. Now I analyze and visualize data in Tableau and with code--on a Mac, naturally! I put my English degree and love of writing to work in my blog, SELECT * FROM data;, coach Data Visualization and Storytelling for Modal Learning, lead Women in Dataviz, and co-lead the Healthcare Tableau User Group and Tampa Bay Tableau User Group.
